Trekking
Mount Bintan

Climb into the ancient rainforest of Mount Bintan, where the air grows cooler, the canopy closes above, and the noise of the outside world slowly disappears behind you. At the summit, surrounded by endless green and complete silence, the island feels distant — and for a moment, so does everything else.

The Story
"The pitcher plants were the first sign we'd entered somewhere older than us."
Trekking Mount Bintan

At 349 metres, Mount Bintan rises as the island's highest point, modest in height, yet deeply immersive once the forest begins to close around you. The trail winds beneath towering rainforest trees, past flowing streams, hidden wildlife, and jungle paths that feel untouched by time.

As the climb continues, the sounds of everyday life slowly disappear, replaced by rustling leaves, birdsong, and the quiet rhythm of your footsteps. Then, at the summit, the forest opens to sweeping views across Bintan and the sea beyond. The wind feels softer here. Everything feels slower, quieter, lighter.

And at the foot of the mountain, the cool waters of Kolam Putri — the Princess Pond — wait beneath the trees, the perfect ending to a journey that stays with you long after you leave.

Fishing —
Riau Waters

Six GPS-verified fishing grounds. Six different encounters with the sea. From calm beginner reefs to powerful Giant Trevally territory, the waters around Bintan offer something for every kind of angler — patience, adrenaline, silence, and the thrill of not knowing what waits below.

The Story
"Out here, time moves differently. You stop checking the clock. You start watching the water."
Fishing Riau Waters

Long before ferries crossed these waters and resorts lined the coast, the sea belonged to fishermen who understood it by instinct. They read the tides by the wind, followed the currents by color, and returned home by memory long before GPS existed.

Today, those same waters remain rich, wild, and surprisingly untouched. Offshore currents attract Giant Trevally, Barracuda, Grouper, Queenfish, and reef species that move through the deep channels surrounding the islands.

Whether you are here for your very first catch or chasing the explosive strike of a GT in offshore current, the experience is never only about the fish. It is about the rhythm of the sea, the silence between conversations, and the feeling of being far away from everything unnecessary.

Mural
& Art

Some spaces are built complete. Others are still waiting for their voice. We create large-scale murals and site-specific artworks for resorts, hotels, restaurants, and businesses — from concept development to full production.

The Story
"A mural is not decoration — it is the soul of a space made visible."

We work with hospitality businesses, commercial spaces, and developers who understand that great environments are felt before they are described. A mural commissioned through TerraMare is not wallpaper. It is a considered, original artwork developed in direct conversation with your space, your brand, and the people who will inhabit it.

Every project begins with an in-depth consultation — we try to understand your space, your story, and your guests. From that foundation we develop original concepts rooted in place, culture, and intention. Nothing is generic. Nothing is borrowed. Every piece is built for exactly the wall it will occupy.

We handle everything from initial concept sketches and scale mockups through to surface preparation, paint application, and final finishing. The result is a work that does not merely fill a wall — it defines a room, a lobby, a corridor and becomes the detail your guests photograph, remember, and return for.

Mural art work
From Brief to Wall
01
Consultation & Brief
We try to understand your space, your story, and your vision. We ask the right questions so the work we develop is genuinely yours — not a template applied to your address.
02
Concept Development
Original concept designs, colour studies, and scale mockups. We present creative directions; one is developed collaboratively to final client approval before a single brush touches the wall.
03
Surface Preparation
Professional assessment and preparation of all surfaces. Grid or projection transfer of the approved design. Marine-grade primers selected for the specific surface and environment.
04
Full Production
Painting executed by our team on an agreed timeline, with regular updates and milestone photographs for the client. We work around your operations scheduling to minimise disruption to guests, staff, or trading hours.
05
Finishing & Handover
UV-resistant topcoat applied for longevity in tropical conditions. Final walkthrough, professional documentation, and long-term care guidance. The work is yours — and built to outlast the seasons.
Materials & Capability
Tropical-Grade Pigments

Exterior and interior paints formulated to resist the humidity, salt air, and UV intensity of equatorial environments. Colours that hold for years, not seasons.

Any Surface, Inside or Out

Concrete, render, timber, brick, metal, and composite panels. We assess each surface individually and prepare accordingly.

Scale, Any Scale

From a 2-metre feature wall to a 20-metre resort façade visible from the sea. We scale our team and equipment to the project.

Commissions open for resorts, hotels, restaurants, and businesses across Bintan, Riau, and beyond. Reach out to begin the conversation.
